There's little dispute that skyscrapers are the modern-day phallic symbols. At a time when the nouveau riche countries constantly compete to erect the tallest building of the world, it's easy to see the resemblance between them and guys feuding over who's got the bigger dick.
With that in mind, look at the first picture. What does it remind you of?
Now imagine if you will, amidst the glorious fireworks shooting off the top (or should I say tip?) of Taipei 101, the words "Taiwan Up" lit up.
Look at the second picture. Wouldn't you say there's rather a certain je ne sais quoi about it?
